This can honestly catch you up pretty well and get you back to speed. If you don't know what you're doing already? God help you. Already doing this work? You're faster then debugging the AI's output.

The one usecase I see for AI coding is someone who has rusty skills in a language. Having trouble remembering your python lessons from college 10 years ago? Perfect. You can read over the output to spot obvious mistakes. You know your way around the language/library documentation for the rest.

The chatbots are absolutely braindead. For coding: If you don't know how to code they're worse then useless beyond about 75 lines. They won't work, and even when they do your app will be fundamentally broken in ways you don't even know how to spot and aren't apparent until you're already deployed.

Anyone telling you it's going to lead to some utopian future is straight grifting. No one who uses this for any length of time can possibly believe that. At absolute BEST it's a force multiplier.

I just went looking for the video and not finding it went looking only to find this thread and discover I missed the window for the community tab explanation too. If I ask politely could you drop the Cliff's notes version here? Don't need all the details, just the tldr for the curious.
