This France team could be the best attacking side there's been in the six nations. Tough to play against.

Tough pick. Graham, Smith, Mauvaka would have been obvious choices another year. Pollock, Nouchi, Gourges.. makes it trickier.

One of the world cup winning Red Roses is signed by Stade Toulousain in Elite 1.

Antoine Dupont & Jack Willis are at the player unveiling.

Ta. I will go wrong this weekend, too many choices. Draft has no Canadians and only one Black Fern..

First player I looked for in Top 14 was Dakuwaqa, but he seems to be named "Bennias Backyard" for some reason.

I may need to turn off auto-translate and trust my rusty French.

Sounds fun. Don't know enough about Top 14, except it seems harder to win on the road, but will give it a try.

Arg/NZ/SA will be tough, and Japan's the only other side Wales plays before the RWC draw is made.

I can't find info anywhere about what happens if Wales are 13th at the time of the draw. Are the 12 teams who qualified from 2023 automatically top 2 seeding tiers, or would they drop to 3rd?

Am hoping you've gone too far down the rabbit hole of "who fits the Leinster/Ireland system best".

This would be the highest % contingent from one country as an initial Lions selection in the professional era.
Doesn't feel like Ireland are dominant enough to justify that after coming 3rd in the 6N.

Watching Super Rugby and players like Sua'ali'i, Kellaway, Potter, Wright, Toole, Jorgensen, I'd like to see a back 3 of Graham, Freeman, and Furbank or Kinghorn up against them.

Ireland have relied on the forwards to score most of their tries recently. Feel like the Lions could be more expansive.

I remember watching Leicester v Stade Francais in the pub in 2001, great match and highest scoring final ever at 34-30. Would not be surprised if that's passed this year.

Absolutely. Champions Cups produce some great semi finals but that was truly excellent. For the last 10 minutes almost everyone must have expected Leinster to sneak it.

Lions from outside top tier - Scott Quinnell had played for Richmond in the '96-'97 season when they won National Division 2.

Hoping we get a good RWC fantasy game next. Will need a bit of research for that one!

Getting to first globally, I was hoping for some selection consistency and easier decisions this week. Kildunne, Wafer & Okemba out with both Bern & Burton on the bench and the Ireland changes not ideal!
