🇨🇱 Chilean Diego Escobar got his first appearance for Racing 92 last night, playing 12 minutes off the bench in their loss to Sale Sharks. Hopefully the first of many!

4 of Aurillac's 8(!) Dutchmen will be in ProD2 action vs Biarritz this weekend. They join 2 Georgians and a Tongan in the 23. Biarritz meanwhile have 2 Georgians, a Samoan, an Spaniard and a American in action. ProD2 is truly the lifeblood of emerging rugby nations!

🇧🇪 21 year old Belgian fullback gets his first appearance for Toulouse today, starting at 15 vs Perpignan. He's currently stuck behind Ramos, Kinghorn, Mallia and Capuozzo in the pecking order (!) but fantastic to see a young player from a non-world cup nation to be trusted at such a high level.

England go close to full strength for the Japan game. Jaoan meanwhile make plenty of changes, principally moving Matsunaga to 15 to accomodate McCurran at 10. Japan were solid last week and England have been dodgy but I expect a comfortable England win, albeit with a Japan scoring a good few points.

Northampton have signed Samoan 8 Iakopo Mapu as injury cover until June. Mapu's been going well for Samoa lately but has been playing amateur club rugby in NZ. Great to see a homegrown Samoan getting a chance Europe, given the recent leaning on heritage players by the national team.

Erich Storti gets his first start for the USA tomorrow vs Spain. The 23 year old was the 1st pick in this years MLR draft, going to Charlotte-based Anthem RC. His first game of pro rugby was off the bench vs Portugal earlier this month. Interested to see he goes because he's clearly highly regarded.

After strong Autumns for both sides, Spain and the USA will want to go into World Cup qualifying with a big win versus a similarly ranked team. The USA have brought last weeks bench front row into the XV whilst Mark O'Keeffe and Erich Storti get their first starts in the backline. Spain

Teams are in for Ireland vs Fiji. Fiji still missing Radradra (suspended) and Ravutaumada (injured) but other than that are pretty full strength. Rotation at 15 continues. Ireland have gone experimental by their standards. Fully expect Sam Prendergast to have his anatomy rearranged at some point.
