At first blush it seems odd that the Belgian League is higher than MLS, but the Eredivisie is lower. I know each of those European leagues have teams that are non-competitive -- sort of like the Scottish Premiership, but it's baffling.

Incompetent refs can cripple a league. What if that tackle blew out Rodman's knee? The league loses a marquee player. If players know the refs are top tier, may they are less likely to make reckless challenges.

I'm sure the delay is caused by DCU's lawyers trying to figure out how to weasel out of the 30% discount offer to STHs who renew after a playoff-less season in 2025. It takes more.
