Cuddling with my dog (mini dachshund) before and after a tough day at work is the best. I love this little guy so much. I was always concerned about him having separation anxiety, but I think I’m the one who ended up with it instead, haha.

I’m loving this series. It’s difficult for me to put the story down when I have to do things like go to work or go to sleep, but I appreciate the escape these books have provided me after being filled with stress from work. I also have part 3 on the shelf waiting for me. @adamcesare.bsky.social

I DNF’d three books in the past few months. Not because I disliked them, but because each time I got busy with other things and I ended up stopping reading them. Now there’s another book I really want to start, but a part of me is saying no, finish one of those DNF’d books first. #booksky

The thing I hate most about AI right now is that people aren’t allowed to be good writers, good artists, or good editors without being accused of using AI. There’s still a ton of people who are just genuinely good writers and artists, y’all.

Today marks a year since I got fired from my job (I put a target on my back because I went to HR about some things) and the journey wasn’t easy. A year later, I find myself in a much better spot. When it comes to finances, opportunities, health, and more, I’m in a way better position than I was.

Today, for the first time in I don’t know how long I walked into a mall that was alive and filled with stores that were open for business. It brought me joy. It feels impossible nowadays, but I hope malls could make a comeback.

Watching Fox News right now. The way they’re talking down to Europe as a whole over the Oval Office blow up yesterday and then proceeded to talk up about Musk going on Rogan defending Doge is such an embarrassment to America. We already knew this, but Fox News has zero shame.

Wow what an embarrassment that was in the Oval Office. I can only imagine how much the rest of the world and especially Russia is laughing at the United States.

I finished reading Brave New World this morning. My first attempt reading the book was a fail because I just couldn’t get into it, but I’m glad I gave it another chance and finished it. Wow, what a world the people in this story live in. #booksky

I've been selling and giving away a lot of stuff lately. From clothing to action figure and card collections. I feel really good about it. Less clutter and no more holding on to things I don’t wear, look at, or use anymore.

I read a little when I was younger. I didn’t get into reading books until a few years ago. I feel I missed out on some good years of reading, but I’m happy I picked it up in the last few years. So many adventures and journeys. So much information and knowledge to be gained. I love books. #booksky

This is the first audiobook I listened to this year. I finished 2024 listening to Jurassic Park and started 2025 listening to The Lost World. I enjoyed listening to this story and I think the reader, Scott Brick, did a fantastic job.

I just did 50 push-ups straight without stopping. It’s been years since I was able to do something like that. Losing weight (50 pounds) and getting back into shape has been a great decision so far. #gymsky
