Creeptober2025: Triple Combo! Day 16/17/18
"Stalker/Head Start/Ghost Animal"
A green kobold watches a six legged panther with barbed tendrils climb down to the floor off the wall. Little does the kobold know, it stands alone, its partner has long ago chosen flight over fight. Yet it remains the safest for now, as the red kobold runs to a bend in the corridor. Even the sharpest of eyes might miss the spectral tendrils of the crouched and waiting predator, the actual and real body of the illusion behind. Sharp eyes, the red kobold lacks. The green kobold will see everything and then nothing.

Creeptober Oct. 9&10 - "Witch Hunt" and "Wool of Bat"
I got sick, therefore behind, so combining things to catch up. I am realizing that the idea target style needs to bend a bit to allow for detail... at least where I stand in comprehending...
Inside a cabin, the entrance taped off with "caution" tape. A detective, illuminated by the glow of the cauldron, holds a bit of fluff pulled from the glowing liquid. He looks back to the sheep and a caged fluffy bat behind him, curious as to which of those the fluff he holds came from. Meanwhile, an assistant kneels to look into a large storage chest. Just above it, a broom rests mounted on the wall.

Creeptober Oct. 8 - "Bloodthirsty"
I got a bit sick, so I am behind and combining a BUNCH of things to catch up... this is not yet one of those.
A vampire holds out his armored clawed hand to catch just one stream in the rain of blood as the unarmored hand drags a few lines of blood from his lip to the edge of his jaw. Eyes mid-flutter, a faint smile, lost in ecstasy... as blood streams from the ceiling... only the five bodies in frame hanging from above betray the source of the blood shower.

Creeptober Oct 7 - "Empire of the Wolf"
This felt hard for many reasons, "I'm dumb" being the heaviest. The only thought I could hang onto was "The empire of the wolf is it's domain" (forest/tundra). So... there you go.
Two wolves size up a horse cautiously pulling a covered wagon though a dense dark forest. So dense the only colors here are black and greys.

"Fight or Flight" & "Trespassing"
Had a bit of an oopsie, so a late posting AND a combined idea will have to do.
This is a little closer into the style I want to practice for this month, but I haven't quite hit it yet I think.
A lone armored soldier stands between a looming, growing shadow and a set of doors that read "DO NOT ENTER". The words read backwards as the lone figure might be standing on the wrong side of them. While the soldier stands ready for a fight, his shadow runs for the opening in the doors behind.

Candy leaks from the corner of the jack-o-lanterns grin.
