And here is the problem we are facing now. We believe it's one persons one vote, but votes are not created equal BECAUSE of federalism. This is not America of the 1800's. Everyone deserves an equal vote and we're not getting it.

No, without a constitutional government that doesn't happen. Federalisim is great but it takes a government willing to be sued and accept the judgment. We aren't the only government to accept responsibilities owned it's citizens.
