My giant water bottle is filled with enough caffeine to unalive a moose. 🫎 my blood pressure is STILL low enough that I must lie on the couch, languishing, like a fancy victorian lady.

After Abraxas visited me, I'm feeling lighter. It's like he lifted the fog from my brain. I've showered, tended to my rather neglected plants, and actually went for a short walk after days of being a scuzzy little couch goblin. Thanks for the push, my little Noodle.

I've been depressed for a while, but this morning I woke up to the sensation of my cat, Abraxas, curled above my head, purring. The tears flowed freely when I realized the spot was still warm. He visits me in spirit when I need him the most and I am incredibly grateful for every moment we had.

I got my first weekly review back and I'm full of happy wiggles. I'm thrilled to work alongside the absolute rockstars in the lab who have taught me so much and been so kind.
