I could see that for a hag, especially green, or even sea. Now night hags I would have to throw something heavy on their voice to show the abyssal influence

For most hags I do a generic like old witch style voice, but I did use one coven that had a Behur hag, and she sounded more like someone from Russia

Hell yea! You could use the sidekicks mechanics in Tasha’s or hell even just start with a guard stat block and adjust it so they won’t die in the first combat.
