A few summers ago, I was chatting with a neighbor in the driveway when a little bird darted around us. A second later, a peregrine swooped between us, chasing the little one. I swear I felt the wing brush my face. It was so cool, but a little unnerving as well. Birds of prey are next level.

It’s becoming a feature of this administration, isn’t it? There was Bukele, then Putin in Alaska. Now this. Ugh. I am so tired of living on this timeline.

I very much look forward to the day when Americans will objectively view this administration as vile.
