You can judge any city by the quality and vitality of its places for public life. Here in Torino Italy it’s the many piazzas, the pedestrian streets, & the public market. Many cities had to claim these places back from cars.

Don’t have those kinds of places in your city? Are you sure you’re a city?

I like the idea of putting large animal statues at children hospital entrances. Easy to address and find the right entrance across multiple buildings.

Sometimes after a stressful day, brain keeps solving work problems and it's hard to fall asleep. I found that thinking of space topics helps for me. For example, I'm 3D printing Mars colony out of molten sand or building a robot for Europa exploration.
