Wagenknecht personally does not stand for a direct mandate (unlike all other party leaders), she is on a state list for the bundestag. I think its rather 0 than even 1 direct mandates bc the other bsw candidates are rather unknown characters.

Gotcha. And not sure anymore about my statement. Apparently the law where 3 direct mandates lead to the allocation of all relative mandates aswell (wirhout the 5 % threshold) was not enacted (rejected by the Verfassungsgericht). So apparently 3 mandates WOULD give them appx 5% of the MEPs

Also impossible to know in german coversge. BUT: those three mandates would not makae a union-socdem majority (without greens) impossible, so maybe an academic question?
