There are some controllers that have handed thier managers an official letter stating that if they are not paid by next week they will stay home and be concerned furloughed. Nothing in the contract says they will not get paid. Slippery slope.

They have a no walk out (strike) clause. Its a firing offense 1 time. Sick out is a no no as well. But since 2021 most have worked 6 days a week 10 hour days. Trust me ATC will be the ones to get this fixed, but it will get ugly to think you're going to fly somewhere
