I feel old today

My youngest child has just completed her last official day of school.

Yes, she still has exams to do and, all going well, she will be starting University (studying architecture) after Summer.
So her education journey continues.

But this is still a momentous day.

5 years later we got married in the castle in the photo.

Fast forward another 20 years, 2 kids,2 cats, a career change for both of us and a mortgage and we are still madly in love.

The anniversary of our first kiss is more important to us than engagement or wedding anniversaries

25 years ago I was in retail management for the UKs largest supermarket.
I was sent to a store in Aberdeen to help close it down, a process that would take months to do

I met a girl there and got friendly.

Ha, I came across a selfie I took as I waited for the sunlight to hit the mountain.
I remember hoping the reflection would stay.
It didn't, but when the light was perfect, the reflection came back.

A good friend of mine turns 50 next month.
Both he and I are MASSIVE John Carpenter fans and I've found these 2 original UK movie posters for sale at a reasonable price.

These films are weak, but we both love them anyway.
