old man, survived cancer, wrote a book, still run a chainsaw.
Behave yourself!
Howie gave the O unsurpassed tools. Moore gave it a little life last year. This year the guys show some wear, but fukkaduk, what are we witnessing?
For whatever reason, Nick is unable to fix it.

compelling logic. did they start this nefarious program 15 years ago?

well, I have tinnitus . . .

and a mind that is not worth controlling

Scot Loeffler is worth a try--my recollecction is that he's inventive.

Does "play calling" include blocking schemes, passing routes. Also personnel, more Tank, less Calcaterra as a blocker, etc.

it's like reading about prized livestock.

lucky livestock, I suppose, playing a boy's game and getting paid lots to entertain the old, arthritic bulls
November 19, 2025 at 12:36 AM
hadn't seen that. you have enriched my life
November 18, 2025 at 8:09 PM
." . . will be good . . ."

needing instant gratification, would we be complaining about their play this year?
November 18, 2025 at 6:26 PM
have the rookie cb's played good?

I could check out PFF for an unreliabe assessment
November 18, 2025 at 6:17 PM
can you write off McCarthy?
lookit what happened with Jones, Darnold, Mayfield. Turrible at their first stop, then, hey, they can play a little bit.
November 18, 2025 at 5:50 PM
I'll take that. thanks
November 18, 2025 at 5:33 PM
and Dickerson. Is he sound? I saw him get pushed back on one block Surprised me.
November 18, 2025 at 5:29 PM
maybe Campbell was the wrong pick. @greghartpa.bsky.social prolly can name a db we could have taken instead

but second guessing is not fair. who knew Nakobe was going to come back so strong from a serious injury?
November 18, 2025 at 5:28 PM
to my mind this look at Steen says a lot about the value of having a player who is healthy. Jergens probably needs a couple weeks to get right. If that's even possible this season.
November 18, 2025 at 5:22 PM
serendipitously, I am listening to a q&a with behavioral economst Richard Thaler, and the topic of "status quo bias" came up.

Status quo bias: we're mice on a glue board

Dr Freud would probably tell us it's not gonna be easy to get a super bowl champ with an 8-2 record to change his approach

People, man. People are a mystery.
November 18, 2025 at 3:20 PM
it could be worse. you could have been born in Dallas. or DC. or New York. or Green Bay. or Detroit. or Cleveland (oh, fuck no). or Las Vegas. Houston, Jacksonville, Kansas City. Somewhere in the Airzona desert.
get a grip, kids.

Lampkin. Also he can play fb.
If you want both fb and blocking te, add Kendall.
That's the black-and-blue package.
Give Tank the ball.
Bim-bam,-boom package.
There will be dust in the air. That's the ground up bones of the opposition.
Some guy named Gunn says Jalen is the problem. Run over him.
November 17, 2025 at 10:29 PM
"they're hurt."
November 17, 2025 at 5:45 PM
zackly
November 17, 2025 at 5:14 PM
same with Jergens. time to put 'em both on IR and let 'em heal?
and who knows about Dickerson.
Hard to know how much offensive struggles result from banged up o-line.
Any chance one of the rookie tackles on IR/practice squad could be helpful?
November 17, 2025 at 5:09 PM
my naive question is why isn't DeVonta running some crossing routes?
November 17, 2025 at 4:53 PM
correct, but when the qb is 14 for 37, I think we can give all the dbs a little credit . . . the d-line too, of course.

PFF hasn't posted grades, otherwise I'd throw a pointless stat at you
November 17, 2025 at 4:51 PM
they don't activate Kendall. is he not ready?
