lmao right?? Picking up my Flying V again feels sooo weird now. Granted I've been mostly using 7-strings for the past decade, but still, the jump from 8 to 6 is staggering. I don't think I'll ever be able to switch back to 7 strings full time, let alone 6. 8 strings is perfect imo. :)

Hell yeah, you're 100% correct on that! I remember being like 17 and watching Metallica interviews where Kirk mentions taking guitar lessons and at first I was like "??? Why???" and that's when it clicked that there is ALWAYS more you can learn and improve upon and it's important to recognize that.

Besides, I had to give this baby the thrash test and she passes with flying colors :D

Thank you!!! 🌸 To be perfectly honest, I'm finding playing on an 8-string far more natural to my playing style than playing on my 7-string was, especially tuning it to drop Eb. It feels so good and I'm already working on riffs that utilize every string ^.^

It really is like that omg. Like the shapes are almost right there. It looks like it SHOULD just say "Jet Set Radio" like it is in English but it isn't. It's like one of those M.C. Escher paintings or that illusion with the ballerina spinning in two directions at once.
