Nothing irks me more than people who have trashed Downtown LA for years acting like they care about what happens there now. DTLA is one of my favorite places I’ve ever lived. The neighborhoods mean so much to me despite how neglected they are just down the block from luxury high rises and hotels.

I realized one of the many reasons I loved pgLang's halftime show so much was because it's a musical theatre style marching band show with a narrator, massive color guard, greek chorus, SZA feature, with a one man band of Kendrick Lamar.
Everything about my background as an artist was delighted.
