Just one use in the whole of Synthetic Agency, and it's from quite late on:
"Come on, let's get inside. I want to see my furry baby." Sam smiled and showed them into the building. "He has no idea what's going on, little idiot," she said. "But he'll be happy to see you anyway." The cat was indeed happy to see him, and Blake scooped Oscar up into his arms, kissing him and going over to the cupboard that had his treats. Sam touched Solo's arm to hold him back as he went to follow Blake. "Is he really OK?" she asked with a low voice, her eyes full of worry. No, would have been the truth. But Sam must know that. She was asking something different - maybe for some specific way in which Blake was OK that she could use for reassurance. "He's free," Solo said. "Really free this time." Sam frowned, but she nodded.

No 'decor' in Synthetic Agency, but I think this description is as close as it gets.
Blake’s living room and kitchen formed a large open plan area on the ground floor. Between the kitchen island and his sofa was a workout zone. He stopped and stared at his free weights. “What a fucking monumental waste of time.” He’d spent hours working out. Every week. For what he supposed must have been his whole life. He’d been proud of his physique. “What a joke!” His shape was built out of synthetic skin over synthetic muscles. Plastic and wires and fuck knew what else that was anything but organic or changeable. He couldn’t ‘lose’ his shape by slobbing out, and he sure as hell couldn’t improve on it either.

Solo leant on one elbow and gazed down at Blake. He looked content, his skin and hair just a little sweaty. Part of him was tempted to lick the faint sheen of moisture from Blake's brow and taste that combination of proteins and amino acids that was uniquely him. He thought Blake would tolerate that, but it didn't seem entirely appropriate. And that was fine. He'd enjoyed enough of Blake's unique tastes pleasuring him. The soft smile Blake wore now seemed very special. An expression he never would have imagined he'd see on Blake's face. Something he suspected Blake didn't show very often. He was happy. After everything he'd been through, Blake was happy, and Solo had helped him feel that way. Knowing that made Solo feel warm and light-headed and hopeful and fluttery inside. And he didn't know if that was what humans called love, but he thought it might be part of it. A small brown can loafing in a window box in the sun, her eyes closed, looking happy.

Solo opened the door when Sam knocked. His hair was pleasingly ruffled and his shirt rumpled. Blake had shifted round so his head was resting against the pillows. It gave him a good angle from which to admire his boyfriend. He was pretty sure Solo was his boyfriend now. Usually, if you told someone you loved them and they didn't run away, it meant they were your boyfriend. "You've created a monster, you know," Sam said, holding out a steaming hot mug of coffee towards Solo, then flicking Blake a glare. "It's nothing he couldn't already do with his phone," Solo protested, taking the mug from her. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a black oblong. "He can't text me from the bedroom with his phone if I have his phone in the lounge." She waved it at them. Blake frowned. "How come you've got my phone?" "It was in the bag with your other things, which Solo left in the kitchen - including that creepy spare organ they gave you. Do I need to put that in the fridge or something?" Heat rose in his cheeks. He'd forgotten about that.

“Can’t you run some kind of diagnostic?” Carter said, trying to think of something – anything that would give them information. “You must be able to tell us more than the average model.” Evan shook his head. “I’m running them, but they keep coming back with nothing. And I don’t just mean ‘I can’t find the virus,’ I mean they’re telling me everything is fine. Everything’s never fine. I’ve been injured. My skin and synthetic muscles have self-repairing mechanisms, but there are microscopic scars. I should detect them. Any system as complex as I am generates bugs – I have algorithms to find and fix those before they cause serious issues. But I keep getting the all clear. That’s… not normal. All I can tell you is that I have a slightly elevated temperature, and my processors are a little more taxed than they should be, but I can’t tell you why.” That sounded bad.

And... Ruth, he says he wants to be different. Like... what's happened is a new start for him." Ruth sighed. "Solo, I know you've not been doing this feelings stuff for long, but you've gotta be careful when someone says they want to change-" "I know that, Ruth," Solo said. "But... I don't think this is quite the same. It's not like a human who has always treated someone badly and broken many promises before. He didn't know what he was. He was just... following his programming. And I know, better than anyone, what it is to... to want be different to what you were made for." Ruth's mouth twisted. "It wasn't his job to be an asshole, Solo. All he was programmed to do was stay hidden." "Loudly hating androids is a very good way to deflect suspicion from yourself," Solo said, pointedly. Ruth cleared her throat. "I don't want to dismiss any of that, Solo, I just... You gotta know you weren't the only person he's been an asshole to, right?"

"No, not us." "In that case: please, go ahead," she said. He took a deep breath and said out loud what had been bubbling away inside: "Blake Hall is a real dick." Valerie's laughter was light and joyous. "Do you know, I have the feeling you're not the first person to say that?" He sighed. "No, probably not. But it feels mean – everything considered." "People can go through hard times and still be dicks," she said. "Can I ask what he did that finally made you say it, though?" He shook his head. That might skirt a bit close to actually revealing a confidence. "I guess," Solo said, "it's just that he hasn't changed. He wants my help, but he still hates what we are. He just hates what he is, now, too."

“Oh what, you want to talk to me ‘android-to-android’?” Blake asked, as the door closed behind Ruth. “Yes,” Solo said, levelly. “I don’t have to eat if I don’t want to eat,” Blake said, stubbornly, wishing this conversation wasn’t making him all the more annoyed at the gnawing sensation in his stomach. “That’s true,” he said. “But you don’t actually know that it performs no function for you. You’re guessing based on what I assume is only a vague understanding of how other androids work.” “You said my… components looked similar,” he pointed out. “They do,” he agreed. “But similar is not identical. You might be able to get things from digestion that they can’t. And even if not, that doesn’t mean that there’s no point to eating. At the very least, it’d stop you feeling hungry.” Blake grunted. “Yeah, but that’s what it wants me to do.” He could hear it. He sounded childish. But Blake kind of thought he was entitled to that, seeing as he'd never actually been a child.

From quite late on in Synthetic Agency.

Content Warning: PTSD, brief mention of android massacre
The memory broke down under the tsunami of Solo's guilt. Screams intercut with figures running in the dark and gunfire and the fall of android bodies. He caught glimpses of Solo's memory of running, escaping, surviving, but they were full of self-loathing. For himself, Blake felt acutely a tragedy that he felt like he should have been a part of, but had not. These were his people. It was a massacre – perhaps the worst moment in their brief history. And he had been at home, bitching to his cat about the androids taking human jobs and going haywire. It was so pretty, so trivial. He'd had no way of knowing who he really was, but his own complete lack of empathy – of even wanting to know what was going on... it was grotesque. And it was nothing to what Solo felt. Solo closed the connection as he devolved into sobs, but Blake didn't need to read his mind to understand. Solo had been there. And he thought it was his fault.

"They came in as witnesses," Ruth was explaining. CCTV footage projected on the screen behind him displayed what looked like a man and a woman in non-descript, but presentable clothes. The woman had long curly hair and the man was wearing a baseball cap that partially obscured his face. "They entered the building a few minutes before Hall - possibly they were hiding in a blind spot until they saw Hall, Turner, and Solo pull up in the parking lot. They signed in as Evelyn James and Tony Church." The figures on the screen passed through the barriers at reception, where they were greeted by an agent. "Scanners do not detect them as androids. But then, they never detected Blake either." Ruth was skirting danger, and Solo knew it. The masking technology in Blake was almost certainly one of the things the CIA wanted to keep secret, and it was a measure of how pissed off Ruth was that she was coming that close to saying it existed.
