Rue hurries up a small ladder, picks a few berries from a potted bush, and hands them to you in a little bowl.
“Here, eat these. You’ll feel better right away.”
The berries look a lot like medium-sized strawberries, except they’re violet and smell like caramel.

Honestly, sometimes I forget why I even draw at all. I lose sight of my dreams and goals. I look at all the beautiful art out there and wonder—what’s the point of adding more? Especially when I feel like I don’t have any brilliant, fresh ideas.
