This is a great article that sums up pretty well the lack of evidence to support the M.E.'s findings, and leaves plenty of questions unanswered: Why were there no DNA scrapings done? Why were there no photos taken of the body when it was found? So many questions.

In addition, pathologist Dr. Kristin Roman performed the autopsy at the instruction of M.E. Barbara Sampson. However, in her initial report, Roman noted that the cause of death was "undetermined." Sampson changed that report a week later to read "suicide", despite lack of evidence to support it.

Look at the photo of the cell. Notice a checkered ceiling design. Lacking tools, it is hard to imagine just how one would hang themselves. FP, M. Baden, noted unusual breaks around his neck. Epstein was 6' tall. His feet would have touched the ground from any other object in that room.

Other photos taken of the cell that day show a scene of complete and utter chaos: Sheets strewn around everywhere, mattresses on the floor or hanging off the bed. There was a struggle.

Those marks were not made by that fabric. Those ligature marks on his throat below the thyroid area are not normal hanging marks. Too low. There are marks lower on the back of his neck as well which would be inconsistent with hanging. They suggest that he had likely been strangled from behind.
