Well this took a lot longer than planned. But finished it up yesterday after doing some work on a commission. She got a new tail! And outfit. Calliope is enjoying her time in the tropics it seems. For now at least! There is a spicy alt of this but not sure I should show that one...

Something simple to get my groove back. Drawing arm is a little weak today from some yard work. So I went with a thing instead of a person. Do you think a lion can be clicker trained? Asking for a friend... And Once I'm back in my groove I'm going to continue my pride month project. <3

Wow, this is a first. Finished this piece without waiting for the weekend. I think this project I have in mind is really on my mind. Anywho, have awkward Tween [Redacted] who didn't know she was trans yet, or that her name was Candy! Picture was kind of dysphoric to finish. But not super bad.

I said I need to do some really gay shit for Pride month. And I think I know just what I'm gonna do. Something I've wanted to for a while. Gonna do doodles about Candy in her youth when she started to get herself figured out. Much younger than I did. 96-97 for this one. And awkward mane growth.

Never really had a good name for what Candy's fictional favorite band would be. A friend suggested the name "Lacking Fireflies" since they're mid 2010s pop-punk it fit. So here we are. Not sold on he logo yet, most likely will refine in the future.

Rewatched Lilo and Stitch on Sunday. Was reminded why I love Stitch so much. So here's Hazel with a Stitch Plush on her lap. I own at least 4 Stitch plushies. And who knows how many figures. Ohana means no piece of merch gets left behind. Tried some new eyes, seeing how I like em.

Sometimes you just gotta give into that inner gremlin and cause some fuckin chaos. Though it never hurts to have someone holding your leash just in case you cause too much of it... Amethyst likes to cause trouble... so that others might punish her for it. She's a weirdo (Affectionate)

Sunday's finished thing is the Tikal. Added her arm stuff I forgot the first time! Learning how Clip Studio works more and playing around with the tools. Very fun honestly, and still having a good time practicing shading more. And trying to figure out fabrics more. Learning is fun!

Saturday finished piece and decided to try doing some shading practice too, and adjust her muzzle a bit. Also played around with the blending and liquefying tool, trying to find a good balance to make things pop more.

Remembered today how much I like Tikal, but also found out that Sonic style hands are even harder to draw than normal ones. So her hands are behind her back! But woo, should do more fan art I think. Was fun.

Got more energy today. Doctor's appointment was good over all, got a few things to try and manage this. So real simple doodle today of the RAT tentatively named Amethyst Gave her some fuzzy cheeks now cause it looks better than just sheer roundness.
