An alias. Old gamer. Autist. Technician of many things. Parent. Atheist. Science enjoyer. Nonconformist. Offshore worker. Married loner. Leftist. He/Him. Settler on Whadjuk Noongar mountain people land. My name is Mike and I don't share my last name here.
For the first time in too many years I got the camera out for some night photography. I'm a little rusty. I need to get a feel for the sensor noise behaviour again.

I met a tall man with red hair named Karri last week. Karri is a tree from this region. Magnificently apt name.

It put a lot of nuance into this nonexistent idiom.

A friend of mine likes inventing ridiculous idioms to see what it makes up.

Grandmother's cookware. Think of her every time I use it. Too special to me to leave it in a display cabinet. Heirlooms should be used and enjoyed.

I had mine connected to one of these. Only recently have I reattained a similar screen size. The C64 I had used a UHF modulator which (much) older Aussie TVs didn't have, they were VHF only.

Core memory is beautiful. It takes precision, patience and a gentle touch to assemble. www.righto.com/2019/01/insi...

Saw this this morning, Potatohead isn't making the point he thinks he's making. I'm going to put a lot more effort into making sure my daughter and her friends get the importance of politics. Complacency could lead us down the path the US is taking. I'd rather ignore all this, I can't any more.

A7. Here's the label with the stock number. Hmm the .com.au might be a problem.

I use the same cheap one all the time for work. When it is full it goes on the shelf with its ancestors. Each one tells a story inside and outside. This one is 12 pages old. Towards the end they get quite ragged. I normally use approximately one face of one page per day.

Technically two cars: Datsun 120Y with a Datsun 1600 IRS and a blown L20B. I also bought a crashed 300ZX with a good VG30ET. Mid-mounted the 300ZX drivetrain into the 120Y. 1280kgs, 180kW. Just got it running and had to sell it for house reasons. New owner promptly killed it, low oil.

Those Miller wire strippers might not be so old. I'm not a fan of them. Decent flush cut side cutters do a better job with practice. They are good for cutting the loose tube on optic fibre though.
