(3/3) It will be a toolbox of sorts, and should be led by the experts. And will cost $$$$. But climate risk is parked and here to stay. We can’t tame it. We have to adapt long term to give communities a fighting chance to stay close to family, work, and their homes.

(2/3) We also need to pressure govt to think less like shareholders (i.e. the next election cycle) and put into place smart zoning and development based on climate risks, hardening existing communities to climate (think incentives for fire resistant roofs), and derisking (bury power lines perhaps?)
