The party got to the Throne of Blood tonight. We are definitely getting to the end of the campaign. Probably sooner than I anticipated. Getting a lot of inspiration from Golden Army lately.

Some familiar inspiration. The Popcorn Bug. #dnd Flatid Planthopper Nymph. It lives in the tropical forests of Ecuador. It is covered with white waxy growths, which are secreted by special glands on the abdomen of the insect.

Van Richten's Guide to the Lich for Ravenloft AD&D 2nd ed. This was one of the first RPG books I purchased myself and I read it cover to cover multiple times. Cemented my love for the lich forevermore. The Jeff Easley cover is possibly my favorite work of his.

Trilemma Adventures. I have stolen dozens of ideas from these adventures and the isometric maps are beautiful.

Chicago by Night for Vampire: the Masquerade 5th edition. Ran The Sacrifice over 4-5 sessions for a new group of players. It did a good job of dropping in lots of Chicago NPCs and locations while showing the upheaval when the Lasombra came to town.

The Waking of Willoughby Hall. Excellent adventure from Ben Milton. You're trapped there with a giant outside who wants you dead because he thinks you took his goose that lays golden eggs. Throw in a necromancer, a death knight, a rival party and some time stuff and it makes for a great adventure
