It’s beautiful bike weather after a very snowy winter here in Ontario. I’m excited to start a greenhouse project soon, so today’s big bike trip was picking up 10-foot lumber with the cargo bike!

Today’s morning school drop-off on our cargo bike was also the roll-over of 2,000 kilometres on the bike since we got it in June!

Finished out what seems likely be our coldest day this year, with trips by both bikes, and no car! And, in the depths of winter, I’m finding hope and small joys in tea and knitting.

Got the last of the Christmas shopping pretty much done this morning, took the kiddo to a playground, and rode past two tow trucks removing crashed cars from the road in the midst of a properly snowy morning. Oh, and then hot chocolate to finish it off. 😊

Date Due: A Bike Doodle Project

I have a stack of old cataloguing cards and due date cards from weeded books, some of which l've used as bookmarks over the years. But I thought recently that they'd make good material for drawing on too, just to doodle something fun. So, here we go!
Day 1.
