Absolutely, he has the POTENTIAL for it, but that's my issue with them picking Prendergast so soon, it doesn't feel like he has rounded out his game enough to actually earn the 10 jersey for Ireland yet.

Oh I know typically 10's aren't typically good tacklers, I just think that shows how bad Prendergast is in defence, that Prendergast is a shit tackler even by 10's standards, which says a lot. Sexton, Wilkinson, ROG were all bad defensively, but Prendergast is even worse.

I think the reason people don't rate Prendergast is his anonymity in defence, I don't think you can win a world cup with a 10 who puts two hands on Pollock and calls "TAG", hoping it stops him in his tracks. Obviously Pollock has wheels, I'll give him that, but there's others who would make the hit
