Saw "Leave her to Heaven" today and enjoyed it. Pacing was off, but it was decent. I thought Harriet Craig (Joan Crawford) as better, and the hubby mentioned the outrageously great Detour (Ann Savage). Now those were evil women. 🎬 @cinefeast33.bsky.social have you seen Detour?

Been working on getting my #DBD adept achievements, which has forced me to play with perks I wouldn't normally. Because of that I found this build that I'm testing out with Adam.
I'm still not a good player, but I'm getting there.

My favorite is the first film, which was made pre code and it shows. I feel that everything that made the first one so damn good was stripped away due to code regulations for the sequels. It's a shame because Powell and Loy are so good together.

Hubby and I finally saw Autumn Leaves (1956) with Joan Crawford and Cliff Robertson. Despite its rushed ending, we really enjoyed it. Joan Crawford is always good in anything after 1945.🎬 #moviesky
