I hate it. When I got hired at the DN, I thought, "I made it!" (Naive, I know). I also hated how the same higher-ups would talk about every cut like "This is ideal!"

The phrase "Derangement Syndrome" should be retired to a dustbin no matter whom it's applied to. Even if it's someone I may favor. Do people act irrationally in politics? Sure. But that phrase comes across as a copout with the message that a person in power can do no wrong. It skirts accountability.

Yes, over here, no credence is given to the idea that women shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Not being flippant. You see folks saying, "They were all blue states!"

2. One is a CITY
3. The third is a MASSIVE swing state that had a Republican governor, whose Lt Gov (with impressive credentials!) lost a bid to succeed him

I don't even know how good the guy would be as mayor and don't need to defend him. But ... 9/11? As if he's the same ideology as the people who carried out that attack?
