That's certainly a possibility. I think there's some highly specific and weird fetishes going on behind closed doors that limit the pool. Either that or they're completely and totally vanilla to more conform with Charles Addams' original metaphor.

I had the same reaction but remembered somebody does get lobotomized in that movie so might be scary for a kid. Also, I believe Roddie McDowell would just be scary to the modern child.

My secret shame is that sometimes I think Wings was a better band than the Beatles. Just because liking the Beatles is like liking breathing. Magneto and Titanium Man is my favorite McCartney joint.

I've been revisiting ER because I liked the show so much and there was a relatively thoughtful trans case in episode 1x09 for '94 at least. It does end in suicide, but there's only one misgendering. I'm surprised that Robbie is one of God's chosen people, which makes him different from Carter.

CK is the exact kind of bonkers it should be. It's based on nearly 5 decades of youth sports beef. Somebody gets paralyzed because of it in two or three, I can't remember which. What a show!!

I believe Johnny's whole room in the Baxter building was made out of asbestos as well, so I'm pretty sure Sue and Reed would have cancer by now. Of course, Ben wouldn't as he is functionally immortal.

This is how I feel when comic book movie people(MCU Normies and the like) try to speak with authority about comics. They miss so much of the historical character nuance it's infuriating.
