A few years ago a lady was hit and killed in the crosswalk on 85st, just west of BD Safeway. Police/news report, ‘speed was not a factor’. Sorry? What exactly is the legal speed limit through an occupied crosswalk?

The way she keeps harping on costs being passed onto consumers is infuriating. Of course input costs affect output prices. But that’s only a problem if you think carbon emissions don’t come with a cost…and if you think that you can GFY.

I don’t have many followers there but I’ve been picking up, I mean blocking, a couple a day recently. Generally they follow ~6.2k, have 0-20 followers, and zero non-thirst posts.

The worst I experienced was waiting to cross 83 st from BD library to Dermot District park. Four trains, two each direction before I got a walk signal.

The media you posted is just a black box for me but with, “The extended periods where it’s frozen in all directions”, I’m going to assume anywhere along the Valley Line. Compare it to the Capital Line along 111th St; as soon as the train passes signals start changing.
