Brad Lander, shortly after being released from detention yesterday, giving a speech to the crowd outside the detention center.

Here he talks about how Andrew Cuomo was able to stiff immigrants he'd relied on to clean the subways during the pandemic, calling them "illegal."

Don't rank Andrew Cuomo!

Some #NoKings shots from the march down 5th Ave yesterday.

My personal favorite is the one of Stephen Miller as a demon that says, "LOSER," and "THIS GUY SUCKS."

Come to think of it, I didn't actually see any signs with him on it that DIDN'T portray him as a demon.

Here's one of the top comments from a YouTube video about Senator Alex Padilla getting thrown to the ground and handcuffed for questioning Kristi Noem's speech.

I'm thinking the NO KINGS protest tomorrow (Saturday 6/14) is shaping up to be pretty big!

If you're looking for something to do tonight in Brooklyn at 7:30, it's the last night to see my old friend Dr. Brown in from L.A perform his now show, Dr. Brown Beturns!

I saw it a couple days ago and it's some amazing, subtle, hilarious clowning. Highly recommended.

Bake sale against fascism today in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, 11-3!

(With amazing cookies by my wife K. — I had one already.)

All proceeds go to the ACLU, the New York Immigrant Coalition, and to the local neighborhood immigrant support organization People in Need Inc.

Yay! The word "hundreds" is no longer in the headline or the article.

Be cool if they gave a better estimate, but at least they dropped that super-low one.

My guess is this was not nefarious, just lazy. A reporter got there early and then just filed their story and called it a day.
