I concede that no parties is difficult, but if we start with 20-30 small parties... we could work our way to not having any, as long as the little ones didn't start consolidating to have more power.

We don't need parties to debate. The world over we see proof of what policies work to make a just, fair society populated by happier people.

All we need are people who can implement these plans and work out the logistics.

We never do that because a parties will always kick the can to keep power.

I take where we are now, a Fascist in the White House, taking all the Power and Money for himself, while the supposed opposition party couldn't even put a traitor in jail, as proof that our a system of political parties and how they are funded has failed us.

Honestly and transparently tell us how their policies will solve a problem or improve people's lives.

They don't need a party to do that, they need good ideas. Sure people can team up, but giant parties that vie power in a system where they are meant to be Representation not "in Power".
