The lab is also starting to move in exciting new directions, with work on brain-wide top-down control of auditory cortex (Mikey Malina), and the role of corticostriatal dopaminergic signaling in learning (Christa Michel).

We've got several posters highlighting the wonders of excitatory diversity, from a sensory characterization (Madan Ghimire) and functional (Nathan Schneider) standpoint. We're also studying internal state modulation and how this modulation affects sensory decision making (Keith Kaufman).
