Happy Devil's Night everyone. Before the Shrugbuds Halloween double feature I wanted to watch a movie I own that has devil in the title.

Devil Story (1986)

Complete and utter nonsense. Thumbs up.

That was way too early of a wake up so immediately went back to sleep after the final whistle. Is this really happening?! #HHGH #HEARTS

I've always been a big fan of the NotLD remake and the new physical release of it, despite the packaging needing to be shot into the sun like all steelbooks, is quite incredible.
Devil's Sword rips.

Watched these back to back for a challenge in a discord server I'm on. There was subsequent voting on which is better and the results were shocking.

I've watched this two nights in a row. It's not for everyone but this is one of my favorite releases of 2025. From @bleedingskull.bsky.social, 72 minutes of pure mindfuck beauty. Incredible music over two movies stitched together with weirdness.

Nearly impossible for me to explain what this series means to me in a succinct way on this platform. My out of focus 9 DVD set from Generation Kikaida in this shot is on purpose. Wonderful wonderful bluray release from @discotekmedia.bsky.social. What a bonkers physical media time we live in.

Back end of the Lamberto Bava Brivado Gialli set that Cauldron put out. Two winners for different reasons. All in all I totally recommend a purchase of that boxset.

Going through my Severin "to watch" pile watching The Uncanny, an Amicus adjacent anthology flick and I'm thinking, someone should do a double feature with Uninvited. Then I just said fuggit.
