Thirty lonely but beautiful actions you can take right now which probably won't magically catalyze a mass movement against Trump but that are still wildly important
Why? Because others will see you do them, and it will make it easier for them to take their own (slightly less lonely but equally beautiful) action by your side

Deborah Rutter was fired this week after a decade as president of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

She says the center worked hard to expand its audience by broadening the programming, inviting "all manner of arts and artists to our stages. ... I pray that that can be sustained."

For years, I’ve been advocating and supporting trans participation in sports. The NCAA ban is discriminatory and dehumanizing. The science doesn’t back the decision. This decision is only about $$$. F%#! the NCAA.

Let’s get the word out - Allison Riggs rightfully won the election and the Republicans (sore losers) are unconstitutionally asking the courts to overturn the election (where have we heard this before). #elections #votingrights #democracy

The National Endowment for the Arts has a storied past. Even so, its small contribution in supporting arts orgs and individuals is meaningful. With Vought heading OMB, what will become of the NEA? Who will step up to support arts accessibility?

I came out to my parents 30 years ago today. I didn’t know it was a “the day”. I still remember how I felt before & after. And then I had to do it over & over again with other people for 30 more years; each time with a mixture of hope & fear.

Give hope
