8 years ago today, I was ordained a priest -- 2 days before the first Trump inauguration. So, my entire priesthood so far has been lived out during the Trump era. (Seminary formation, however, was in the Obama era. So, yeah, some dynamics we failed to anticipate.)

Fairly easy to spot a Ralph Adam Cram (architect) church wherever you go - especially if you worshiped in one for a decade. (St. Paul's, Winston-Salem, where I am today / Trinity, Houston, where I worshiped for 10 years until they sent me out to seminary)
