Theft & black market resale has been a hallmark of business in Russia for so long, it's culturally ingrained. When the CCCP collapsed, foreign businesses were chomping at the bit to get into Moscow. Most retreated when this black market cost became too much to bear.

Anybody else get seemingly arbitrarily suspended over on X? This got me suspended for "violent speech". I'm still trying figure out where the violence is.

I just wonder what brand MAGA's going to go after to drag back to "the good old days" next? (Note for MAGA: Your "good old days" weren't so good for a lot of people.)

Well, my gas is up 13 cents a gallon - so far. Quite the different landscape than the load of horseschitt lies he was selling back in October, less than a month before the election. "It'll all happen very quickly" - well, at least that part wasn't a lie.

It's said "Justice is blind". I think MAGA just took the blindfold off of Lady Justice and placed it on Lady Liberty.
Trump is clearly weaponizing the DOJ and the rest of the Executive Department. Every employee will be required to sign an oath of loyalty to Trump, instead of the Constitution.

I moved back to Florida a little over a year ago to be back around my (tragically) MAGA family. I'd left in 1981 for the Air Force & other adventures. Came across my old Texas plates in some storage boxes, which brought back a momentary nostalgic smile, and then an overwhelming & persistent sadness.
