Me either. Fascism is (or should be) a dirty word but I think it’s accurate for what is going on right now. The cronyism. The authoritarianism. The militarization of our country. The deregulation. “Trump can Fix It”—that was their fucking campaign slogan.

I think an old friend of mine said it best: The Dems don’t care about you, but the GOP wants to fuck you around. That being said, there ARE people on the left side who are trying to advocate for average citizens against tremendous odds.

OK I think we have reached the point in this little shit show where if we stepped back we would realize we want the same thing and we should focus on Trump/Musk.I started this thread by saying that I SUPPORT a more progressive DNC and that the only politician i send $$ to is AOC.

I think the Dems need some serious self evaluation. I think the old guard needs to step away and let the new generation take over. Right now we are in a time of extreme crisis and we shouldn’t be setting up in a circular firing squad because that is what the GOP wants and they are just plain evil.

OK whatever. I’m an older person and you probably don’t like older people either but I’ve been around long enough to have seen this movie before. While you’re processing your misplaced anger I will be at my state Capitol today marching against the real enemy-the Trump regime-with my fellow citizens.

Neither you or I are the problem here. The Democratic Party has always been a diverse and loose coalition. I suggest you aim the rifles of your firing squad outward towards the real enemy who has been sustained by a 30 year campaign of fear, resentment and hysteria by FOX news and its odious allies
