The @irpp.org hosted a series of workshops, and published several reports, looking at EI reform between 2021 and 2023.

It isn't easy to increase the number of people that are eligible for EI and the income received on EI, while trying to keep premiums low for workers and businesses.

The good news is that 90% of Canadians live in communities that are not particularly susceptible to workforce disruption (job change, new skills requirements, change in income, major inflows or outflows of workers, worker shortages or unemployment).
