So…I have this thing about not posting shots from my phone onto anything that showcases DSLR shots. Not because I look down on the tool, but because it feels…I don’t know…not complex enough? Nevertheless, I have to share this here.

Woot, woot! I love that I can continue to appreciate, encourage, and showcase photography from here. Decided to split it from my general main account as I know people are all comfortable with all art subject matters. Here’s to continual growth of this amazing platform.

I've always loved #BlackAndWhite photos, but eons ago, I became averse to muddy shots -- I don't like my photos muddy. Playing w/ film, I could expose an image onto paper to clean that up -- straightforward; with #Lightroom, I'm never happy, because I have to feel it. I'm just too picky. 🤣

Yes...you can bet money on yourself that I've been out there in the real world, enjoying it all. Gotta love #azalea season!

You know how they say that the eyes are windows to the soul? What if I told you that windows, are just elements that contain greatness -- you just have to get closer, peer at what's on the other side. It may just surprise you. #BWphotography

You know, whenever I come across old vehicles like this, I always hope it finds itself in the same exact spot, with its scratches, worn areas, dents -- not as a yearning for something past, but as a testament that it's held on and continues to do so.

You've got to love it when you see art inside art in a place with art.

This is from my early stash of photos and taken with a (You ready for a trip down nostalgia lane?): Canon Rebel XT.

Who doesn't love a good flowering shot, right?! So, without further explanation, enjoy.

This is from the Magnolia Grove here in the city. If you go check it out, do so when I'm not around so you don't mess up my shots. :D

A few years ago, I went on a photo adventure with a friend and her family. We were doing early Urbanex -- and stumbled upon a cool rail storage. This is from inside an abandoned railcar -- the breaks didn't catch my eye, but the holes into the real world did.

I find winter to the best time for photography outdoors, with trees dropping their leaves and leaving views so bare. Makes you appreciate the mundane things out there that you'd probably ignore with color all around you.

I love photos which hits the viewer -- whether by the subject, the light, or the idea that they can hopefully discover behind the photo. And that pretty much was what I was doing here with this shot.
