Catchy as fuck, damaged, blown out, wonderful. It sounded like the culmination of all the music I’d loved since my teenage was puréed in a blender.

I’d followed many of John Dwyer’s earlier projects - Pink & Brown, Coachwhips, early OCS stuff. But had stopped keeping up with it.

I was listening to lots of improvised/ experimental stuff, when someone gave me a copy of Warm Slime shortly after it came out. It hit me like a bolt of lightning.
