Pardon the AI slop, but here is a trophy he has truly earned. ("Most fabulous whiner" was his own description of business during a rare moment of self-consciousness during his first campaign.)

He seems truly incapable of seeing a difference between an actual achievement or recognition and a bauble handed to the person as a symbolic token. That is just extremely weird.

It reminds of the Purple Heart he was handed by some confused veteran during his first campaign. He acted like he had actually been awarded one, saying that he (a draft dodger) had always wanted one, and that this was a much easier way to get it.

Maybe because most of those guns have actually been trafficked to drug cartels and gangs in Latin America.

I get your point, though. Just wanted to bring out the fact that common sense gun control isn't a threat to the domestic market, but to the "Iron River" of weapons flowing across the border.

Just as many have thought since his earliest imperial and mercantilistic impulses, Trump's unpredictable antics are driving an increase in Chinese influence. And that’s just putting even more power in the wrong hands.

Can't much blame Canada, though. Everybody needs stable trading partners.

If any Nato member starts an unprovoked assault on another, it should result in immediate expulsion from the alliance, not the termination of the alliance. Naturally, the alliance would be that much weaker, but that's just how it is.

Just nauseating. 🤮

As the median work experience of ICE personnel approaches single-digit months, their action becomes more reminiscent of the Red Guards than Gestapo.

After all, this is a Cultural Revolution, with all the disdain for actual expertise of the Chinese original.

With Trump, ass-kissing only earns you whining for more of it, and a total loss of respect, assuming that Trump is even capable of such.

She is going to have a really hard time trying to overtop this performance, so he'll have no use for her from this point onwards. She’s just spent in his eyes.

Are there any data series for the total enthalpy of the oceans and the atmosphere combined?

This is what happens when you tell a bunch of thugs that they have "absolute immunity."

Notice the use of “you” instead of “we”. Does he not consider himself an American?

“No *you* don’t?” Why wouldn’t he say “we”?

Does he not consider himself American?

“No, you don’t” instead of “no, we don’t?”

What does he think he is? A Russian or Argentinian?

Oil reserves, specifically. That’s a common factor with Canada, Greenland and Nigeria, with large estimates of undiscovered reserves.

Venezuela is the easy one, with reserves that are already discovered but under-exploited.
