Hygiene can very much affect how badly you break out lol. And also it depends on the type of acne.....there's literally fungal acne which is related to hygiene.....

It's also funny to me that s8&9 are pretty universally disliked by fans and I actually love those seasons mainly bc of Catherine tate lmaoo

Like back when I would rewatch regularly and it was my go to show when I had nothing new to watch and I would even play it while trying to fall asleep. Anyway I would mainly rewatch s4&5 and s8&9

I watched up to ep3 and back in the day s1 was my least fav season and whenever I would rewatch i would skip s1(&most of s2&3)

So like idk if it's the added scenes or time has made me grow fonder but genuinely so surprised i actually enjoyed what I've seen of s1 so far
