Here are my latest mini creations. I'll eventually give them a coat of matte varnish so they won't be so shiny. Not pictured is 10 more clanrats for the army.

I'm not sure when (or even if) I'll get to play these games but I'm very excited to put together forces for them.

More often than not, these sort of books serve as inspiration for minis projects than actual games that I play.

But these both have solo modes, so there is a chance!

If you see this post a skeleton 💀

I've never been very interested in the insides of a Palladium book, but the covers always grab my attention. The contrast between the straight forward, often unstylized, titles and the wildly imaginative paintings just sets my brain off.

I mean, just look at this thing!

The 90s nostalgia I want to make a resurgence is the 4AD aesthetic.

I spent my day off painting minis instead of doing chores. I don't know how I feel about the cluttered living room, but I'm happy I got some practice in. I really don't get enough time at the painting station.

I'm trying to give this book a chance, and it is a genre that I normally wouldn't touch, but I am getting incredibly frustrated with the convention of the main character being more concerned with her social status and business than *being the prime suspect in a murder investigation.*

May had some high quality reading for me.

I got around to reading several books that have been on my TBR for a very long time, finished the Artist's Way after reading it sporadically since I bought it at Border's, and finished Delicious in Dungeon. A good month of reading.

Like, just an incredibly big ass.

These are the books I finished during April. I wish I had read just one more audiobook and one more print book to get a nice, filled in graphic.

When did it become normal for officials to hold up the papers they have signed like kindergartners showing us their fingerpaintings?

I mean, take a look at these numbers from Open Secrets. Flower Foods loves Republicans, much like most corporations owned by the rich, but these numbers pale to what's happening in tech and finance.

I'm not cool enough to be anticapitalist is quite the take to post publicly.

I've got my 4/20 reading lined up. Do you?

Painted a mini for the first time in nearly two months. I made a few mistakes that I probably wouldn't have should I have been in better practice, but the end result is nice enough.

"The Cult" has got to be one of my favorite Batman things. It's so wild that this fever dream of a story came from Jim Starlin, not some edgy kid.

I finished a bunch of books in March and read the entirety of Blood on the Tracks. It was an intense month.

February wasn't exactly a slow reading month, I just haven't finished a few of the books I started.

I've painted my very first bust, a skeleton I purchased from @thegaminggeeks.bsky.social while attending Popicon '25 this last weekend. He was so much fun and a much needed break from little soldiers.
