Love making and reading books. Like taking pix of things to satisfy my mild ADHD (ask me about 100s of doors in Europe). And I love all kinds of food.
Last day of White Rock Market. #croissants were actually quite good. Pricey.

Who knew the croissants at Barcelona airport were actually quite good. Although this poor quality photo does not do them justice. #croissant

Coffee and snack.
Okay, snacks came because we also ordered spritz.

Nothing is as much fun as being with bookbinders taking a course on some binding technique. Oh, and playing with nice paper and dyes.
Crisscross binding but by quirk of things now called Secret Belgian Binding. And it's neither secret or Belgian.

Doing my part to boycott any product be people or companies who don't see the BS of the current US administration. Ya, that includes Gretzky. I bought the one next to it. Would have proffered 99 if he didn't turn out as he did.

Tried a #croissant at the Canadian favorite Tim Hortons. I was first put off by the misshapen pastry. But was impressed by the initial crunch through the crust and the inner part was not as heavy as typical Canadian croissants. I was quite surprised. Would buy again. #VictoriaBC

Another gorgeous day in Victoria BC. Facing the Olympic mountains in Washington state. Have a book, mixed nuts, and a bottle of water. #suntan #salishsea

Sitting on the gorge waterway with a good book, an apple and some water. #victoriabc #sunnydaya

Thrifty #croissant. Was surprised that for the price it was pretty good. Was correctly flakey and a goid taste. I find that Canadian croissants are typically heavier then ones from France. And end of day is the worst time to buy.

I still zip thru xtwitter for hilarity. This one made me bust out in a hearty laugh...

A "fancy" chocolate croissant in Duncan, BC. I have to say it looked fluffy enough but was quite tough for a croissant. Not flaky at all. To be positive it was OK for a dinner bun. From a distance it looked like a #croissant

Loving #streetart in White Rock, BC. No not street tart.

First Canadian #croissant since leaving France. :( Its ok but heavier and 3-4x the price. #VictoriaBC

A White Rock, BC croissant. Not too shabby. But I could 3 for the same price in Bordeaux France.

As a Canadian I fully agree with this:

Goodbye Bordeaux. Lived here for two years and feeling turmoil of leaving. Time for Victoria BC, who knows for how long.
I've got over 100 Bordeaux door pictures that I'll have to post later. If you're lucky!
Taking train to Paris. Flight to YVR. #ciao #door
