Survivor of PT”X”D but I did get a husband out of it. Red River Métis living in windy SK. Married to https://bsky.app/profile/rickycanuck.bsky.social and yes, I’m a SK Roughrider fan; it was in the marriage vows.
Great post. I’ll just leave this here, met this record holder and absolute legend a few weeks ago. Complete fan girl moment 🥌🥌🥌

Had a getaway in YYC; on way home now to watch Grey Cup, obvs. Here’s the moment Bruce Springsteen started playing my favourite. Snapchat froze for me, but this one moment says it all! I put my phone away and just cried and listened. 💜 Thank you for the magic life @rickycanuck.bsky.social

The best part of being extraordinarily ordinary is that I get to live life with this kind, funny, mostly normal, amazing, hard working human.

Your comedic delivery (in my head) is hilarious. I love my PB and that’s one area of my life that I go completely natural 😂 (no added sugars, but all the fat). It’s ridiculously good IMO!

Your last saved meme is your moral philosophy.

On this day, 6 years ago - the transformation for this ‘Toban-born woman into a SK Roughriders fan began when, on our 4th (I think?) date, the handsome decades-long season ticket holder and lifelong Rider fan Ric Bye (my husband, who isn’t on here yet!) took me to my 1st CFL game at Mosiac Stadium.

My husband doesn’t get statutory holidays off - sidebar: I’m so ridiculously proud of his work ethic, they don’t make them like him much anymore - and he sent me this photo of his sunrise today out in the oilfield on the prairie. It is breathtaking.

Here is my Gus. He is a boy who loves to jump into the dishwasher as I empty it. Two vastly different ages in these photos, but he’s still a kitty at heart.

Today November the 8th is Indigenous Veterans Day. I am very proud of my Métis ancestors who served. www.veterans.gc.ca/en/remembran...

You might be a prairie Canadian if you go to your child’s parent teacher meeting and come out to three deer chilling on the school lawn.
