ANDOR is a masterpiece. No notes. Like ROGUE ONE, it enriches the Star Wars canon ... and has given me a new shorthand to distinguish Sword & Sorcery from Epic Fantasy: STAR WARS is epic fantasy; ANDOR and ROGUE ONE are S&S. (1/2)

Younger son has put in the work. Ran 1:58 in the 800m, taking 3rd and earning All-County. His teammates were 1st and 2nd, so they swept the event! (His teammate who won broke a longstanding county record with a 1:54.) So proud of him! 👏

Our beloved cat, Athena, died unexpectedly this weekend. She was especially close to our younger son. I buried her in the woods (conservation easement) behind our neighbor's yard. She was a beautiful, quintessential cat, and we miss her terribly.
