TikTok felt like the one place that I was engaging directly with normal, actual human beings. On YT there’s a sense of disconnect similar to TV, on twt there are so many bots and now Nazis can just chill on the tl. FB is boomers being misinformed, and insta felt like a regurgitated TT FYP.

The options presented for “saving” TikTok all seemed to involve changing the fundamental things we enjoyed about the platform. So even if it comes back, it won’t be the same, and I would be skeptical of using it again depending on how they bring it back.

The most important thing I can recommend with their songs is to read the lyrics with the songs. Sometimes Vessel is really difficult to understand, but by god, his songs have the most incredible lyrics I’ve ever heard. If you have any questions or want to talk, please hmu, because I adore this band!

I would say to start with the newest album, Take Me Back to Eden, and then go back to the beginning, Sundowning, then This Place Will Become Your Tomb. Eden has songs of every genre, and it’s a journey, so if there is something you don’t like, just wait and they’ll have something new! 1/2
