For #OldWorkWednesday, this piece represents the very start of my life in pottery. A sketch in clay using my partners offcuts. I still love this piece.

It's been a while since I've posted, so here's some new pottery pics. Raku. Variations on the same basic form.

Another piece of recently finished woodfired pottery. This bud vase was surrounded by a donut vase in the kiln, creating a rather sharp shadow line in the ash.

I've been slowly cleaning up the heavier ashed pots from last year's woodfiring. This is one of my favorites. Unfortunately it is severely cracked.
