#Purdue has been solid thus far in the portal.
Not a lot of headline grabbing additions, but a good amount of UNLV players following Odom and some interesting possibilities visiting.
O & D lines still a concern, desperate for WR help, seems like LB has been best addressed unit thus far. #BoilerUp

Trying to be level-headed about what @boilerfootball.bsky.social is doing in the portal.
Filling roster needs, largely getting guys the coaches know, at worst building depth.
All good things.
Still feel apprehensive about just what the offense will look like though as it is a bit of a mystery.

Uncertain what I want to see in a new #Purdue coach.
A passing guru would be nice, but at this point I'd be fine running an archaic ground and pound.
Not sure it "has" to be an offensive guy.
The only non-negotiable is they HAVE to have been a head coach for at least 5-10 years. #BoilerUp

Okay. Changed my mind.
Had come to grips with the notion that Walters would be retained no matter what, but no, not any more.
This is inexcusable. #Purdue has to pay him to go away.
If Bobinski doesn't want to make a FB hire before retiring, then show him the door too.

At this point #Purdue needs to just abandon the run. They are getting eaten alive at the line of scrimmage. Not that Hudson Card throwing is much better, but... meh.

IU is a loss to Davidson/Providence away from their season becoming a full-on dumpster fire.
Suppose losing to Gonzaga was better than losing to WVU would have been, but they dumbed down their non-con schedule too much to come away from this trip 1-2, let alone potentially 0-3.
